The Hijab, isn't typically considered "high fashioned" , but times are changing due to the media's influence. Many Muslim women are expressing their religion with fashion, in hope that typical stereotypes will be seen differently. Often times western thinking views hijab's as disrespectful for women, however Muslim women are here to share their love for their head dress, and shut down the negative views of the hijab.

We are now seeing Muslim women being recognized through the media and fashion industry as "modest models" in hope that their way of dress will be embraced rather than degraded. New York ran their first run way show dedicated to wonderfully embroidered designs, it was a huge hit and got nothing but five star reviews of the new models.

We are also seeing modest clothing lines as well, Zahra Aljabri expresses how her "modest clothing line' are to empower other women. Donald Trump attached Ghazala Khan; by saying she was not allowed to speak because she was a modestly dressed Muslim women (WRN). With Zahra's help, Muslim women are now embracing their choice of style, and showing the world that modesty has nothing to do with religion, but a choice.
